If you’re looking to purchase an eBook reader with a reasonable price, the Kindle Fire, Full Color 7″ Multi-touch Display, Wi-Fi is the tablet PC to consider.

Apple’s iPad has single-handedly dominated the tablet PC landscape since its launch in early 2010. We have seen many top tech companies launch their own version of tablet PCs like the Samsung Galaxy, Motorola Xoom and RIM’s Blackberry Playbook, to name a few.

Processor: the Kindle Fire uses the TI OMAP 4 dual-core processor, whereas, the iPad 2 uses Apple’s A5 dual-core processor.

Memory & Storage: the first generation Kindle Fire has limited storage space at 8 GB and does not have an option to increase this storage (it doesn’t have a microSD slot).

Having said so, Amazon provides free online storage space through Amazon cloud for digital content like apps, music, movies, books and games.

However, the Kindle tablet has a smaller 7 inch screen as compared to the iPad’s 9. Therefore, depending on what you intend using your tablet for, you would choose one over the other.

The iPad 2 comes with front and back cameras which are great for online video chatting or conferencing as well as for recording videos. Its battery can last up to 10 hours as compared to approximately 8 hours on the Kindle Fire. The Kindle tablet has a built-in USB 2.0 (micro-B Connector) which is more convenient

So if you are constantly on the move and need to be connected to the internet, you need to be aware of this lack of 3G option in the Kindle tablet.

However, Kindle Fire runs on the Android operating system, which means that users will have access to the Google Android App Market.

Price Comparison: Amazon has surprised the consumers by pricing the Kindle Fire tablet at US$199.

From the above review, one can determine that Amazon’s Kindle Fire will not pose a significant challenge to Apple’s iPad, other than the price differential.

By pricing the Kindle Fire at US$199, Amazon has made tablet PCs much more accessible to the mainstream and will be a popular gift idea for the Christmas/Holiday season.

Based on the information above, the Amazon’s all-new Kindle tablet PC is my first choice when deciding on electronic ebook reader.

Cirque Du Soleil O Las Vegas

With the show’s topic, the inspiration by the thought of infinity and the clean silhouette of the letter ‘O” is the name of this production.  It sounds like the French word “eau” which means water.   Under a watery-blue ceiling, the theater is open and decorated with red seats and vivid red curtains.

“O” exhibits a combination of performers and skillfulness like other Cirque du Soleil productions.  The performers consist of fire-jugglers, clowns, aerial acts and a swarm of swimmers and divers.  Periodically for the duration of this creation, the performers remind you of brilliantly-painted dolphins, a Rene Magritte painting or whimsical images of Renaissance Venice.

The arena Cirque du Soleil designed for “O” could nearly be numbered among the show’s superstars.  One minute, it’s dry land and the next, it’s filled with water…deep enough to take the divers who reveal themselves from up above the stage.

Cirque du Soleil “O” is stunningly-staged event, intermixing their customary acts with water ballet and divers.  If you’ve seen and embraced their other shows, you’ll most likely enjoy this one too.

Too Busy to Cook Healthy Meals

Are you too busy to cook healthy meals?  If you work all day through the week, it’s almost impossible to fix a healthy meal. We either order something fast and convenient from a take out order or go to a restaurant.  That’s why there are so many restaurants, diner or fast food and they are all over the city.  They become so convenient that it makes you lazy, as a cook, when it comes time to sensible dinners.

When you’re too busy to cook healthy meals you probably resort to restaurant or take out orders.  The money you spend would be enough to purchase groceries for four to six meals when buying lunch and dinner during the week.

If you have a budget that you are working with during the week, you can go a long way with groceries instead and in the long run, it will save you money.  Of course you can splurge on Fridays, usually paydays for most people.  But there are people out there who stick to their budget because they are trying to save money.

When there’s no time for cooking on weekdays, you have the weekend to catch up.  You have to plan ahead when you know that you’re too busy to cook healthy meals during the week.  If you have about 30 minutes to an hour during the weekend or even weekdays, you can prepare your meal way ahead of time.  I know that because I am one of the people that prepare meals during the weekend for the following work week.

On weekdays, when I get home from work, I am too tired and too lazy to cook.  So, on weekends, I figure what I want to eat for lunch during the week.  When I know what I want to eat, whether it’s a sandwich, salad or an entrée, I put all the items on a list.  This will make the process of going to the market a lot easier and faster.

Going to the grocery store early on Saturdays, or on Sundays is the perfect time. Since a lot of people doesn’t get to the market till after church or when they get up after a long night from clubbing the night before, it will be less crowded and not as chaotic. Always pick up items that you need to prepare your meals for the week.  But of course, you’ll pick up other things like snacks in between meals, hopefully, healthy snacks.

I always buy vegetables, fruits and less meat.  I’m not much of a steak and potato person.  I usually prepare two to three different types of meal, but it all depends on what you want to eat during your work week. Make your daily routine easier on you and your pockets to prepare your meals way ahead of time.
